Description du contenu de l'enseignement

To introduce the geological evolution of the region. For each tectonic element : South Caspian Basin, Kura Basin, Greater and Lesser Caucasus mountain systems and mountain foothills give present the tectonic structures, geodynamics, sedimentation mechanisms and depositional systems. Emphasize on petroleum systems and economic geology.

Compétences à acquérir

Have clear understaniding of geodynamics, sedimentology Petroleeum systems of the main tectonic elements in the area of Azerbaijan. Have practical knowledge of the economic and petroleum geology in Azerbaojan.
